Layout of bulk gas purification stations

Key points for setting up bulk gas purification stations:

1. When large-scale gas purification stations are located in gas production stations and gas supply stations, they should be arranged in close proximity to devices or rooms with similar functional characteristics.

2. When the purification station is adjacent to the gas workshop, it should be arranged on the first floor of the building near the outer wall or the end.

3. Hydrogen purification station should be built with hydrogen-activated inert gas purification station and oxygen purification station with non-hydrogen-activated inert gas purification station. When the gas workshop has a large amount of gas inlet chamber, the gas purification station should be built in conjunction with the gas inlet chamber. It is advisable to leave adequate room for expansion within the station.

Purification system

Establishment of common hydrogen and oxygen purification stations:

In addition to meeting the requirements of GB 50724, hydrogen and oxygen purification stations also need to refer to the relevant provisions of the current national standards "Design Code for Hydrogen Stations" and "Design Code for Oxygen Stations". When the hydrogen purification station is adjacent to the gas workshop, it shall not be located in the vicinity of crowded places and important departments, as well as on the sides of main passages and evacuation outlets. The hydrogen purification station shall not be directly connected with adjacent rooms, and the fire resistance grade of the workshop adjacent to the hydrogen purification station shall not be lower than the second grade. Electrical control room and instrument control room of hydrogen purification station should be arranged in the room adjacent to purification equipment, and non-combustible partition wall with fire resistance limit not less than 3.00h should be used.

Notes for Gas Purification Station:

1. The net distance between purification equipment should not be less than 1.2m, between equipment and wall should not be less than 1.0m, and should not be less than the length of replacing purification materials or extracting parts plus 0.5m.

2. The net distance between the gas purification equipment and its subsidiary equipment can be reduced by 0.15-0.30 M.

3. The net distance between the two rows should not be less than 1.5m when the gas purification equipment is arranged in two rows. There should be no less than two safe entrances and exits for rooms with explosive danger, one of which should go directly to the outside, but only one can go directly to the outside when the building area is not more than 100_.

4. In the gas purification station, when the equipment needs to be hoisted for overhaul or replacement of purified materials, the hoisting facilities should be set up.
